I am trying to "clean-up" a little. There are some programs listed under "Add or Remove Programs" that I have not used for years. When I click on the "Change/remove" icon , I get message - "The system cannot find the specified file ". How can I get rid of these programs or what is left of these programs?
    Thanks.

Found a useful stand-alone utility named PUI which will show whether the program has an uninstaller, and if so, by highlighting and clicking File>run, it will uninstall. You can also delete a key, which will remove it from the Add/Remove list, and then manually delete the program files/folders. Some programs place files into system folders that may be a bit harder to find, which is why using the uninstaller is the preferrred method.
