Add/Remove Program List

    Today I uninstalled 2 games I no longer use. The games are gone, yet they remain on my Add/Remove Program list, is there a way to permanently remove them? Thanks in advance.

    There are a number of ways to deal with this hateful bug (it's a bug, no matter how you look at it. It is either MS or more likely the installed program's fault).

    One is to download and install RegSeeker and choose the Installed Programs option. You can remove references to programs long gone.

    Or you can do it manually. HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
