I am very happy to find a forum of smart, and friendly "techies." My last question, and first, was answered within hours. THANK YOU...
I use two small applications all the time. I want to be able to start both of them when I IPL the system. I am running Win 7 64 bit. The applications are an icon lock and magnifier, Desklock and Dragnifier respectively. I was able to do this in the past, but I am at a loss now. I am forced to start them manually and by the time I have done that the icons are over the place. Please come to my "rescue" once again.
KOD

You can add them to the startup folder in the start menu. If you have shortcuts in the start menu for them already, just right click on the shortcut in the start menu and drag it to the startup folder. Release the right mouse button and in the menu that pops up, select copy here.

I have to apologize, the responses to my question appear to be easy and straight forward. HOWEVER, I can not find the "startup folder." I have to say the same for "startup folder in the start menu." I have shortcuts for both of the applications on my desktop.
I think when I entered "beginner" into my profile I overrated myself.

Ok, Step by step instructions.

Click on the Orb...
Now click on All Programs
Now Scroll Down until you see Startup
Right Click on Startup and Select OPEN (Note not Expand)
A new window will open, copy your shortcuts into that

Let me know if it helps or where the instructions break down.

Wildlife. . . If I did what I saw and not what I think I read I would need to do half the work I wind up doing. Your instructions worked. Thanks. . . .
