Resolved [add an image to the shell32.dll file]

    is it ok to add an image to the shell32.dll file, I would like to add images so that they may be selected in the "change icon" choice

    If you know how to do it - go for it...Backup the file just incase something goes wrong.

    Far simpler and safer to put the icons in a separate folder and avoid the possibility of trashing your install.

    yes thats the path I have taken, a separate folder
