Acer E5-551 15.6" Laptop

Hi,
I am considering purchasing a new laptop, came across this one. My old laptop was an Acer Aspire 1800 which has been a brilliant unit and has served me for the past 8 years. So with this in mind I would like some input from any one with regards my possible purchase. What about this AMD processor which is installed?
Also what are your views on all these refurbished system that seem to be advertised every where.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi NEILMAC, If you are limited in monies available or size of Laptop - the one you show the specs for should be OK.
My concern would be the HDD size and slow speed. Is there an Acer available with SSD HD?
Go for new as you can often get caught with Refurbished units continually having small problems. Neil.

Thanks for the reply retiredlearner, you say slow speed, do you mean slow speed of Hdd or processor? Am yet to find an SSD HD with 1TB.

HDD Speed (5400 RPM). SSD's are getting bigger capacity - But the price is the killer.
