Resolved Acer AspireOne ...MS TUN Miniport code 31

Hi;

Have this Acer Aspire One Model AOA -150 Netbook

Windows XP Home SP3

In device manager, under network devices is a yellow flag for Microsoft TUN miniport adapter with error code 31..Driver error.

Oddly, in safe mode, it says it is installed correctly?? (no flag)

Over at MSDN, they tell me...manufacturer option...talk to them.

Online chat with ACER support...Quote "product installed with the Operating System...format and reinstall ".

A couple of hours of digging around on Google uncovered people jumping through all kinds of firey hoops to clear that error. My hope is that one of the guru's here has encounterd this and can offer a less draconian solution...

By the way, it refuses to let you uninstall it, even in safe mode.
