    Hi,

    Acer Aspire One 10.1" D255E.
Intel Atom N455 (1.66 GHZ, 512 KB cache.)
    Mem. 1GB DDR3.
    Storage 250GB HDD.
    System type 32-bit.
    BIOS Vers./Date Acer V3. (DDR3) 10/01/2011.

    Windows 7 Starter with SP1.

Firefox, Malwarebytes, CCleaner, Microsoft Security Essentials.

Problem : Will not boot up into the recommended screen res. of 1024x600 and stay there. I can change to 1024x600 but the change will not hold.
At the next boot the screen will be 1024x600 for just a few moments, and then it switches to 640x480.

    All suggestions welcomed.

    TIA,

    Ray.

Your thread seems to have been overlooked - apologies :)

I would first try reinstalling the Intel Graphics driver - available here at Acer - search by Product Model for AOD255E.
