Account Settings in 7.2 Sent Mail & Junk Mail Controls

In 7.2 when I make a change to the account settings, the changes are not being saved. In the 'Copies & Folders' section there is not a check mark in the 'Place a Copy' BOX under 'When sending messages, automatically:'. If I place one there and then also indicate which folder the sent messages should be filed in and then select OK, nothing is recorded. If I then go back in it, is as if I didn't make any changes in the first place.

I have the same probem with Junk Mail as this is not being sent to the Junk Mail folder and any changes I make to 'Junk Mail Controls" is not being recorded either.

Any help given would be appreciated.

 

Since I have 12 accounts set up in 5 different related programs, I have a golden opportunity to see just about every problem. And, this happens in only one of the program, indicating some local corruption. I found out that removing the account from the Mail Wizard, and then reintroducing corrdcts the problem. The nuisance is in having to copy the needed files from the old account to the new account. You will need to do this with the Inbox and Sent file only.
