I am getting ready to install an SSD and I need to move my user account profiles to another drive so that the OS & programs will fit on the SSD. I printed out the instructions that another Windows BBS member (markmadras) had linked to.

    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/18629-user-folders-change-default-location.html)

I was looking at the accounts in the C:\Users folder and noticed that there were two entries for my account. One was listed as "my account id" and the other as "my account id.v2" both have today's date. They seem to be duplicates of each other. Why are there two folders with duplicate files?

BTW, thanks markmadras for the link.
