[According to Belarc I'm missing update Kb309513]

    According to Windows Update all my updates are, well, updated. According to the excellent Belarc report however I am missing the 'crucial' update KB309513. Can I assume the greater trust lies with Microsoft?

    Hi Cynic. If Windows Update is telling you that you are all up to date and you have no pending updates to install then you won't need to take any action.

    Does it really say KB309513? KB-numbers are 7 digits. Apart from years ago in the 9xxxxx series, are there exceptions?

    Whoops - yes it is KB3093513 - but happy with confirmation to trust Microsoft. I've always been a bit naive ...

    Don't worry about BelArc saying 1 update is missing. I always get that showing and prefer to allow MS to auto update as the "missing" update does not apply to my comp. ;) Neil.
