    Hello all,

    Windows XP SP2
    Nero 6

I log into my home system with a power user account not admin. I thought the power user account had operator priveledges, which should allow me to backup files.

Anyway, I have to logout and log back in as an administrator account, to use nero. How can I add burning rights to the power user account or my specific user account ?

    Thanks,

    - Don

Can always right click on the Nero shortcut and select "Run As "

Even easier - set up the shortcut as a Runas and save some steps.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\runas.exe /user:us\a-vailn "C:\Program Files\Hyena\HYENA.exe"

The above does it for an app where I need to use a specific admin account. I could have included the admin password but it would have been in clear text so I just know I gotta type the password when the window opens. Note that the "/user:" piece points to the US domain and my admin account there so on a local PC your shortcut string will be a little different.
