Abacast plugin

Has anyone ever heard of this plugin? In order to hear the Montana Cafe radio station it tells me that I have to install it. I never heard of it so I didn't download it. I looked at their support page and it seems to have an awful lot of problems that require a considerable amount of computer expertise to solve. I have no such expertise...
Has anyone tried this plugin? Is it safe to install?

I went to the site and clicked on listen and it played on media player

 

I am asking about the plugin!! Do you have the plugin??? Abacast tells me that you MUST have the plugin to get it to play!

No I dont have the Plugin it had download links to that plugin and a little lower it said that it would start playing shortly then it opened in media player

 

If you click the "No thanks" button (a couple of screens after you click the "Listen" button on the main page) you get this message:

"It appears that you have chosen to not install the plug-in or are experiencing trouble with the plug-in installation. As a result you will be automatically connected to a lower quality stream that does not require a plug-in, but may have limited connections or duration. For the unlimited stream please click "Try Again" or get help by clicking here. "

So, no, it doesn't look you absolutely have to have it to hear their audio.

Try it and if the quality is okay then you don't need the plugin.

However, since I didn't install the plugin and I can't find anything about it on the net, I can't answer your question about whether it's safe.
