I have a new problem now. With this new computer I got a printer combined scanner, plus a Fuji Digital camera. Have had the printer/scanner up and running okay, today decided to install the software for the camera and it would not work, the pictures wouldn't save as it said couldn't find a path, then my printer, scanner wouldn't work either. Phoned up their help line and they advised various things over phone which didn't work so they said I had a major problems with windows, something to do with my explorer not opening. Thought oh dear must be because I uninstalled that NewDotNet. However, once I unplugged the camera from my hard drive, the scanner was up and running fine again. Have uninstalled the Fuji software and was wondering if actually it is somehow interfering with the software for my printer. I am going off computers as the days go by.

It was the camera it'self probably having a conflict with the printer.

What happens if you plug the camer back in?
If the printer acts up, try rebooting.

My printer/scanner is hp series whereas this fujifilm is a totally different package, so had to reinstall software and did so properly restarting computer after installation etc. Still cannot get it to work. I can bring up the images from the camera but when I ask to save onto my computer it says it cannot find a path. In fact it saves a folder to my pictures and instead of the pictures it has a load of squares with big red ? on it. I am obviously doing something wrong, but the fuji helpline don't seem very knowledeable either. If worse comes to worse may have to take back to shop and see if they can help.

When I was researching cameras and had decided on FUJI, all the reviews talked about how bad their software was. (tried to use it and didn't like it)

I plug in my USB cable->go to My Computer and drill down on the Fuji. I then cut and paste the pics where I want them to be.... (or copy and paste if you want to leave them in the camera)

    Carol ...

I would suggest buying an inexpensive USB card reader that will read the memory card from your camera.

After it's installed, open Windows Explorer, and navigate to the image files on the card reader. I've found it best to copy the pictures to a folder on my hard drive, then format the card in the camera (do NOT use the Windows "Format" command). If I try to move pictures to the hard drive, they frequently become corrupted, for some reason, and I end up with half a picture or no picture.
