A problem with ST.exe/netdc.exe/netdb.exe

Win XP Home.

I tried for several hours to remove this from my friends computer. netdc.exe was (of course) not being listed in the standard process list, so I got that security process lister, and bingo, found it. It seemed to even be running in safe mode.

I haven't tried Windows Anti-Spyware Beta yet, maybe that will do something.

Already deleted C:\windows\notepad.com (found somewhere to do this)
Deleted c:\windows\netdc.exe several times, keeps coming back (along with st.exe). In the log there is a netdb.exe in the start menu, but I couldn't find it (with hidden files turned on).

Told my friends to NOT use the computer for anything till I knew more.

Hi thatnerdyguy, Welcome to the forums

Its been a couple days please make and post a new log

Also where is ST.exe located ?

 

Haven't had time to work on it, so I don't have a new log (I would assume it would remain the same, but maybe I'm wrong).

St.exe is in c:\windows\ I believe.

 

Things tend to change, thats why i asked for a new one.
