    Hi, I am using win98se and IE6.Whenever I visit website lifepositive.com AND
after logging in,I want to checkup my incoming mail.It does not open and a dialog comes in the status bar telling A popup window is blocked. When I log out it logs out also.I thought this may be the problem with the website.Nearly a week passed same problem is still existing. Whereas other site is working fine. Pls tell me what problem may be? Is it with some configurating problem or anythingelse?
    Thanks and regards.

If you have a popup blocker installed, you'll need to tell it to allow popups on the site.

  3. to hide this advert.

    Hi,steve,THANKS for reply.
I do not have popup blocker software installed. This is happening only on lifepositive.com.All other websites are functioning alright. Most probably something wrong with this site. But this is happening for the last ten days.

mishrarc--You may have a popup stopper installed and not know it. Google and Yahoo (search) Toolbars include popup stoppers as the default. Do you have either? There are others.
Popup blocking might also be caused by your Scripting settings in IE Tools|Internet Options|Security tab|Custom Level. Try Enable and see what happens. Change back for security on other websites.

Hi friends, I am boring you.Is not it? I checked up popup blocker in yahoo as well as in google. It is not blocked. I repeatedly saying that this blocking is coming only on lifepositive.com when I try to open my mailbox. I can sign in but cannot open my mailbox. When I sign out, I can do that . I checked up on other PC also. There also I cannot open my mailbox on this poarticular web site.GOD knows what is the problem ? This may be with the website itself. But how to verify this. However I continue to try again and again. IF u get any solution .Pls post me.
I checkedup in Tools/Internet option/security/custom level also .There I found that javascript is enabled. What is left for further checkup.

This is a 'friendly' error that doesn't give enough detail to be useful.

You are seeing the error because of a problem with the way a web site is written (bad piece of script probably)

You are not seeing enough specifics to make sense of the error because you have 'friendly error messages' turned on in IE (tools~internet options~advanced) so just turn them off.

As to the problem with the popup window being blocked, you might try holding down the CTRL key before you make the click that causes the warning. That can often bypass whatever is blocking a popup.

Excellent that you got an error that may help solve your problem.

I don't think that one is pointing at a problem at your end though. Looks to me more like a server issue - maybe. This is not an area of expertise for me.

    validateuser.asp, line 9
If you have a file validateuser.asp the issue might be at your end but I doubt it.

I'd suggest you work with tech support and they should have someone who can figure out the source of the problem based on the error you are getting.

I'm assuming you're on their main page and no problems there before trying to access e-mail. Look around for a link that offers help - troulbleshooting. See what you can do there. If it involves e-mailing, can you get access from another system?

    Regards - Charles
