I have a blinking exclamation point at the bottom of my screen with the above message. I have a Dell Dim8400, XP Home,250GB WDD Sata drive. Everything seems to be working fine (albeit slow for the last few months). Any adive on how to verify my HD?

    Thanks Y'all,

    Matt

Go to the hard drive manufacturer's website and download and run their diagnostic tools. This will tell you if the hard drive is failing. While at the site check warranty information, the manufacturer may or may not replace the drive depending on the exact nature of the failure.
