After a clean install the OS is working well and fast, definitely the easiest install I have ever had. The only downloads 7 made during the install were two updated drivers for my Canon printers.
Now, however, it will not accept the software for my Eye 1 monitor calibrator, saying roughly - "This driver is not signed - 7 will only allow signed drivers'. I am trying the latest driver that I can find but the Vista 64 driver won't work.
Has anybody else had this problem and solved it?

Vista 64 bit has the same security issue with "This driver is not signed." Pretty sure there are hacks out there which might maybe work for Win7.

No problem here with 7 x32 - the eye-one display 2 and software installed without a hitch and all appears to be functional. No unsigned driver warnings.

Yes, that is normal on 32-bit. 64 bit however does not allow you to install unsigned drivers.

There are some 3rd party tools which claim to 'work around' this restriction, I won't recommend them, but you can do a search & try to see if they work for you.

Me, I stay away from hardware without signed drivers.

That's fine unless the hardware is essential - in my case a colour calibrated screen is essential for Photoshop.

Was thinking of x64 when I rebuild later in the year to make use of more RAM in Photoshop, but clearly need to research drivers for my essential hardware first :)

I'm sure there are manufacturers that are shipping 64-b it drivers, so that's the hardware I choose.
