I am unable to save to my floppy drive. The message said 'A:\' is not accessible. Disk media is not recognized. It may not be formatted.

Also when I try to access the A drive by clicking on "My Computer "- I get an error message that is unreadable.

I have not done anything different. The disk have not been altered--they are the same ones I have been using.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried going into device manager and removing the drivers, then rebbot and let windows reinstall the drivers. The dr5ivers do get corrupted at times.

    Hi.

Sounds like you're running Windows XP. If you are, theres a problem with that OS addressing the floppy drive. It ignores it a lot and when you happen to access it you run into all those errors. The most common one is that the floppy isn't formatted. If this is the case, your equipment is ok and the floppy is ok, it's just XP being cranky. It works ok at various times, usually after a reboot. Microsoft won't acknowledge this but if you search the web you'll find many many people with this problem with XP. A lot of people never seem to have this problem. Hope this helps.
