I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, DV6700, with Vista. The sound works fine but the volume slider does not click as you move the volume up and down. Contacted HP and they suggested updating the BIOS. Have done that but the clicking sound is still not working.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

You posted in the XP forum - moved to the Vista forum.

I've not come across the clicking sound you mention in XP and am not familiar with Vista so cannot help you there.
