I have been using NS 4.7 and it's time to upgrade… so I downloaded NS 7.01 several weeks ago.

I tried installing 7.01 but had some trouble with my Bookmarks/address book [Profile] not fully updating
    - I've seen some helpful info on correcting that problem and I think that should be OK

My latest ISSUE is that I want to make sure Mozilla stores cache files somewhere other than my C:\ drive
And I think I've seen a link on this BBS that addresses that.

So, my final question before I jump is…. Since I downloaded NS 7.01several weeks ago - now I find there
Is 7.02 ---- does this fix significant bugs & more features that I should download 7.02 and go with that vs.
    Sticking with 7.01 ??????

    Denna,

In my opinion 7.02 is a little more stable and has fixed a few security bugs - so I would say go with the 7.02

If you don't need all the AOL junk I would say go with one of the CCK versions:

    You can check the here:

    Holger's Compact

    Silly Dog

    DJGM-distros

As to your Cache question - you can set the cache location at:

Edit->preference->advanced->cache-> "Disk Cache Folder" to the directory that you want.

    Hope this helps:

    Denna,

You can try adding this line to your user.js or prefs.js file, if the option to move the cache folder is not in preferences.

(watch the wrap, should be one line)
    user_pref( "browser.cache.disk.parent_directory ", "c:\\path\\to\\your\\cache\\directory ");

Note the double backslashes in the path... \\

    tranquilo
