7.0 settings will not save

I am using Netscape 7.0 on my laptop, Win 2000.

When I try to save bookmarks or any settings on my Netscape browser, it reverts back to the original settings when I close the browser and re-enter.

I have never had this happen before.

Any suggestions?

Try this:
With Netscape open
Delete: registry.dat
This file is found in the ....Applications Data\Mozilla folder
See: Profiles Folder Location
Restart Netscape

Also check your Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings | Server Settings
Ensure that the Local directory path points to the correct Mail folder location.
