I have a client that has Windows Server 2003 SP1. Using exchange server. Some emails that they try to send gets the following return error. Note that not all emails get returned. Some emails do go thru. Does this have something to do with reverse DNS? How do I fix this problem?

    Yes.

Add reverse DNS, it'll depend on your environment how you have to do this (in house or hosted domain, which server software).

For Microsoft Server see: Add a reverse lookup zone

They are hosting their own MS exhange server which they use for a file server also. Their ISP is Qwest. I will try what you suggested.

After investigating a little more, I found out that I needed to contact Qwest for them to create the reverse DNS since they are hosting the IP address.
    Thanks for your help.
