    Hello

I have just recently bought a Biostar IDEQ 210P from CCL Computers. Can anyone please tell me if the mainboard supports double sided DDR RAM, as the 512 stick installed is only seen as 256 by windows. If this is the case, i will have to get it changed

    Thanks in advance,

    Liam :)

I could not find your motherboard model listed in the Biostar Compatible Memory:
    http://www.biostar-usa.com/compatibleram.asp

    FAQs from Kingston:
The type of memory supported by your motherboard should be specified in the motherboard manual.

I could only find a "compatible" type at Corsair:
If you got both the PC and the RAM at CCL Computers, e-mail them as to whether they want you to return it/them or try upgrading the BIOS. There has been only one BIOS upgrade listed so far for your motherboard.

Thank youu very much for your replies..

I have upgraded the BIOS and now it all OK, but the manual only tells you that the board supports up to 2GB of DDR400  not what type.

    Thanks again,

    Liam
