My school district has hundreds of machines running versions 4.08 and 4.7 on Windows PCs. Unfortunately, the front page of our web site -- http://isd742.org -- does not spawn scroll bars. As a result, users at 640 x 480 resolution cannot view a significant portion of the far right side of the page.

What is causing this problem? Is there code that will force NN to create scroll bars? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got a solution through Macromedia's Dynamic HTML forum: coding page-margin widths with absolutely positioned layers is a no-no. Once I got rid of the page margins the scolling layer worked AND NN 4.x spawned scrollbars.:)

    Hi Jeff,

So glad to hear that you have resolved your problem. I poked around at Google, but didn't find anything that seemed to fit your situation.
