    Any ideas for this announcement in event logs? Really annoying, gets posted in every 30 secs

    The machine wide limit settings do not grant Remote Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
    {5A5AA0AA-1DEB-4683-96B0-B43301E83971}
    to the user DOMAIN\userx SID (S-1-5-21-1572623611-2110845848-3320006131-1284). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    I suspect some hp driver monitoring tool?

    If you search your registry on CLSID {5A5AA0AA-1DEB-4683-96B0-B43301E83971} you'll see it is for the HP Port Resolver. Searches on HP's forums yield that this is a part of a particularly troublesome and somewhat buggy application (see http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=370850)

    There are two possible solutions here:

    1: Uninstall all non-essential HP utilities and apps from the offending computer/user.

    2: Change the location where HP Port Resolver runs in DCOM.
