I'm experiencing problems with the netinfo.exe process on my Windows server 2003. Whenever windows starts, or I restart the process, it starts running taking up about 30mb of ram, which i believe is normal. After a little while the process starts taking up significant amounts of cpu resources, up to 40% peak, and memory usage starts to increase. I've seen it take up almost 400mb of memory.

The server runs a few static websites with hardly no visitors at all, a dns server acting as primary dns for six internet domains, smtp and pop3 server at test-level (only a couple of users), an ftp server and basic file sharing on the lan. It also acts as a DHCP server and dns forwarder for lan clients.

I haven't been able to find any information about netinfo.exe in windows 2003, so I was hoping someone here had some tips about what to do to solve the problem.

INETINFO.exe is the Internet Information Server (IIS) Admin process. Sounds like you have a memory leak. Are you running any applications on your web site? Registered DLL's? How are the web sites built?
