    Dear all,

    I had to re-install Vista on a Sony Vaio but in vain; while expanding, it stops at a certain time and give me an error code; browsed the internet for a long time, yet, no solution;

    Used the F key to recover, but in vain; i get the message that drive too small to recover.

    Then I decided to install XP pro. It shows C: recovery partition (around 8GB) and I create another partition (around 175GB), yet it is named C.

    What do you think about that?

    PS. Meanwhile, XP copying files, restarting the laptop and nothing on the screen!!!
    Restarted, deleted partition, recreated partition, it took the letter C and the recovery became F. Installation in progress!!!
