I am having difficulty figuring out how to see two networks at the same time...The PC that I am using (windows XP) to run SNMPc Management Console has 2 NICs installed and they are programmed to see 2 networks:

    192.168.168.x
    255.255.255.0

    and

    10.1.1.x
    255.255.255.0

I need to be able to see both networks at the same time so that the managment software can monitor the SNMP objects in both networks. Currently only 1 side of the network can be monitored at a time. If it is possible to use a SOHO router to handle this, I really need a configuration guide to make it happen. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

AFAIK, XP cannot use 2 networks at the same time unless they are bridged, or the specific software being used is configured to use both networks. The problem arises if the second lan has a gateway. XP will only utilize 1 gateway at a time.

You really should be running that console on a server operating system, which will support multiple adapters.
