I have been using a go game, handtalk, for some time, but suddenly I get a message in a box labeled: 16 bit windows subsystem,. The message is: 'windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.'
I think maybe I removed something from the startup that should be there, since I tried to clean out unnecessary items yesterday, when I found a persistent virus: mqguard.exe (which is now gone from windows and startup). What to do ??

Mayhaps some of these Google Hits will help.

    Good luck.

Also take a look at this page. There's a dowload there, "XPFix.exe," which should fix the subsystem error problem.
