Today while windows update was installing Microsoft 2007 Office suite SP2 update the install just hung up and sat there forever. I have 2007 office home and student edition. I tried to stop the install, but it greyed out so I went to task manager and closed the update program, but when I tried to reboot, got message that windows was installing the Office suite sp2 and not to unplug or shutdown, but this also just sat there doing nothing. So I pulled the battery from my laptop and restarted the computer. Appears to be Ok, but update is prompting me to install the current updates, including the one it stopped on, so apparently it never really installed. Anyone else experience problems with todays Windows updates? Thanks.

    Arie,

Thanks for info. I downloaded the standalone sp2, and it installed w/o any problems in less that 20 minutes, not counting the download time.
