Problem solved turned out I had a bad splitter for my vga to go to monitor and to TV thanks for all your help.
I hooked up my tv from the back of my computer to the vga input of the tv how do I test the graphic card thanks
the reason I feel my monitor is okay is that I have my computer hooked up to my TV and I get the same picture on the TV I installed the drivers...
tried that reinstalled drivers for my nvidia geforce 6150se video card no change also can see no conflicts in the device manager
