    If you have Xp you would go to start....run..in the box...type cmd... to reset you would type ipconfig /release....after its released your ip...

    Good Luck I also had the same problem... I use avg and Zone Alarm Suite. The wins32 virus detection pop up windows couldnt be shut down....
