    Which AV - more info I'm running McAfee v6 on on eof the machines - which has Win2k SP2 installed. The other in SP1 and does not run an AV...

    winlogon has runaway!!

    I have two Windows 2000 Pro SP1 machines on a LAN that have winlogon.exe consuming 70-90% of processor (in spurts) as shown in Task Manager....
