oh.. i just tried setting up the bios to default settings.then checked that on board video is used. saved settings.. when the computer booted...
the original power supply was at 300 watts.. i replaced it with a 330 watts maximum rating.. the +12 v supply has a rating of 16 A.. hmm.....
