    Sound lost: Realtec AC'97 correctly configured

    The sound is built in speakers (laptop). I havn't looked into the BIOS because I am reluctant to mess with any settings. Do you recommend it? :(

    I only noticed by chance, since I rarely use the laptop for audio, but suddenly the sound output has gone. The HW is a Toshiba Satellite 2430 and...
