the usual Gates non answer....its true it didn't happen with 98 BUT...XP is based on 2000 which is completely different to 95/98/ME....
yeah....strange huh?......XP won't find my modem unless i switch it on prior to booting......then it finds it everytime :confused:
ps you can't install through dos...XP doesn't have it
its not necessary..just install XP and let XP change it after its installed itself
you can change to ntfs anytime even after installing progs... it won't damage the progs..but if you want to get back to fat32 [can't think why]...
