That link is interesting but my cd drive has a regular IDE type connector. Its the same model as whats in my working computer that I referred to...
BIOS says it will boot from a scsi but the drive needs an adapter so thats out. I see I must need a video card update as this one is very basic....

It is CRMC-FX001D I have the manual for it and have been through it many times. Maybe a bios setting needs to be changed?
