yeah this could work too... but for old control panel u got to press WIN + R then type "Control" then hit Enter... then u'll see "Internet...
have u tried to go into old configuration panel and reset Internet Explorer options back to defaults? and in revo u need to uninstall a windows...
why not removing edge completly and use ur favorite browser... so many windows tweaks are available on the net.. to be able to get rid of...
