    "Audio inputs and outputs" does not appear in the Device Manager.

    Also, I tried to install Legacy Hardware, Sound and Game Controller, but it indicates Parameter is incorrect and will not install.

    Thanks for the reply. I opened the Device Manager, and there is no "Audio" or "Sound." Any other suggestions? Thanks again.

    The sound icon has a red "X" on it and no sound can be played. When hovering the cursor over it we get the message "No Audio Output Device is...
