    Sure, I renamed map-1.6.0.xml as AUCHECK_MAP_41.xml i.e. copied the data from map-1.6.0.xml to c:\documents and settings\...\Temp\AUCHECK_MAP_41.xml

    I saw the same exception 0x0000005 at location 0x0040c940. Looking through the code with my ida I noticed that jaucheck.exe tries to parse this...

    What is the contents of the file C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Local Settings\Temp\AUCHECK_MAP_XX.xml ? Does it look like a valid xml file?
