    hello,

It seems that this site http://www.youfindall.net/ has set itself as my homepage and is bound and determined to stay there. Theres also a pop up window, Cool Search Engine, that appears once and a while, seems that my computer is running slow because of it...I have tried changing it in my control panel, ran regedit( found 1 file related using find, and deleted) used find files or folders, deleted more stuff, emptied my temporay internet files, and ran adware 6 (nothing there).. reset my computer and its back again..and here i am, back again :)

Have you scanned for spyware? If not, download, install, immediately update and then run Spybot or AdAware (I use Spybot but you can use them both.) Let them clean up any spyware they find.

If you know how to boot into Safe Mode, do that after installing and updating whichever of the two programs above you've chosen to use. In Safe Mode any spyware that loads on startup won't be loaded and will be more easily removed.

Otherwise, if you use Spybot, after it's done its scan, you've told it to "Fix Selected Problems" but it pops up a message that it couldn't delete it all, asking if you want to let it run on the next boot, go ahead and tell it "yes." When you reboot, Spybot will fire up before Windows is completely loaded and will run its scan before the leftover spyware has a chance to get started.

It's likely all the problems you've described will disappear after a spyware cleanup but if not, post back.

Try holding down ctrl. key after restarting. That should take you to the startup options.
Have you tried setting your homepage to blank via tools>internet options>general tab on your browser? I had a time trying to change the search engine in use on my browser and after trying many things found it was as simple as going to the homepage of where it was 'powered by' and choosing to uninstall it. It then went back to the default search engine.
You should be able to set your homepage to where you want by typing the address for it, then select 'use current' button after the page loads. Try this after checking for spyware in safe mode if your problem is still there. Try using Spybot as it can be set to run on reboot like Miz said.

Back again, i have tried using the StartPageGaurd, it works but still doesn't stop the popup search engine that appear s every once in awhile. I have been trying to run my computer in safe mode but still have had no luck, It seems this aftermarket keboard(hewlett Packard Internet) needs to have windows running before it will work, so i am not able Try holding down ctrl. key after restarting. I have reset my home page and reseting my websetting, but after a reboot everything is back.

The search Engine seems to be the biggest problem and located their hompage and found nothing to uninstall it ,
this was on the You Find All homepage and tried it, and didn't work either.

    thanks for all your help

    Important notice.
We have received several e-mails reporting an abuse of the services that we are offering to webmasters.
Currently we have started an investigation in order to determine who is responsible for a discreditation of our services.
Server www.youfindall.net does not contain any kind of illegal scripts and is not responsible for any of your problems.
In order to help you avoid browser problems we recommend you to try this 5 steps:

    1. Start Windows registry editor:
    - click button "Start" on taskbar,
    - select item of menu "Run ",
    - type string "regedit.exe" (without quotation marks),
    - click button "OK ".
    OK. Next...

    2. In window of registry editor open a key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ",
delete String Value with the Data that is similar to the notation "<path_to_system_dir>\bootconf.exe" (We can not tell you more precisely, because the <path_to_system_dir> usually differs from one operation system to another, and we do not know the one you use).
It's better if you try to remember (or write down) your <path_to_system_dir> for future use. So, write down your <path_to_system_dir> and close
    registry editor.
    OK. Next...

    3. Right mouse click on a desktop icon "My Computer" and select a menu item "Explore ",
    - In a left window of Explorer open a dir <path_to_system_dir>
    - In right window of Explorer select a file bootconf.exe and press the key "Delete" on your keyboard
    OK. Next...

    4. Set default homepage for Internet Explorer to Blank.
for this purpose click on your Internet explorer menu on the top Tools --> Options --> General ---> Home Select "blank" and press Ok

    5. Reboot your computer.

We hope we could help you.
