Id like to force an application into a sizeable, minimizable window. The application i want to do this the most with is the game Civilization III. Id like to force it into a sizeable window (it always goes full screen on execute, and i cant seem to change this from in the game) so that i can minimise it now and again to monitor downloads. is there anyway i can do this?

I hope ive explained this well enough, if not please just ask me to re-phrase stuff.

    Rob.

To minimize it, just hit the Windows key. If that doesn't work, try ALT+ESC, or ALT+TAB.
That should put it on the taskbar.

On my system the Windows key, by itself, just opens the Taskbar and the Start menu ... it does nothing else.

Alt + Esc cycles through the windows represented by the buttons on the Taskbar, activating (opening) them in turn, and Alt + Tab lets you select which window to activate.

The Esc key, by itself, may (or may not) do either of two things ... it may exit a program, or it may reduce a full-screen window to one that can be resized. Then again, it may do nothing at all. ;)
