Hi! I am having some trouble finding my monitor in the windows device manager. There isn't even a monitors division in there. It goes from modems to network adapters, as if it doesn't even know I have a monitor. I have tried to unconnect/reconnect my monitor, running a driver install program from the company (Compaq), and a few other things, all to no avail. If anyone could help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Which video card? What driver version?

In Device Manager if you choose Show hidden devices on the View menu, under Non-Plug and Play drivers, see if there is a "ENC2 Video Filter" and disable. Reboot.
