When I turned on my pc this morning I found that My Pictures screen saver did not work. I did a System Restore and that did not work. Has anyone had this problem before and how did you resolve it? Any help will be appreciated. I am using Windows Me on a Dell Dimension 4600.

Pandagirl, have you tried other screen savers to see if any of them work?

Yes everything else in the screen saver menu works except something called Picture and sound show. I'm wondering if when Comcast made their transition from At&T this week if somehow a file from them is causing this because it was working ok before.
Although we changed to Comcast on Tuesday and this happened after shutdown on Wed. and my screen saver slide show was gone on Thursday .

I thought I should let you know that I found My screen saver slide show. My Pictures folder has always been a sub folder of MY Documents in local C
Tonight when I was sending some scanned pictures to MY Documents they were not going there. I did a right click on My Document folder on my desktop and it told me that My Document folder resided in MSN. It was always on Local C. I found another folder called MY Documents and that is where the scanned pictures that I sent went. And lo and behold in that My Document folder was a sub folder called My Pictures and it was empty. And for some reason I will never know My Pictures slide show screen saver was directed to that folder just yesterday. So I renamed that foder and redirected my original My Document folder to Local C where it belongs.
I still think it was caused by Comcast somehow. Thats the only thing new that has happened to this pc lately.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
