I'll bet there is someone out there who has a quick answer to this one. I just bought a SanDisk ImageMate USB 2.0 Reader/Writer for uploading my digital pictures. Trouble is my computer has only a slow speed USB port, and I do mean sloooowww. Well, it's very fast if I use my camera for the uploading, but I bought this reader/writer thingy to save the battery on my camera.

Evidentally, I need to buy and install a fast USB port, but I haven't a clue how to go about a) buying one and b) installing it.

Do I buy it from the maker of my computer, Dell? Will it come with instructions for installing it? Am I biting off more than I can chew?

And now I'm leaving for the weekend, so don't think I'm being rude, please, if I don't respond to your reply before Monday night. Thank you.

You can pick up a USB 2.0 card at any store that sells them. Also you will need a open PCI slot to put the card in.

Thanks, Russ. It's really that simple, huh? Ok, I'll give it a shot. Thank you.
