When I click on the search button I get the following message:

Sorry, the page cannot be found.
Please try one of the following:

Check the Web address (URL) to make sure it is correct (capitalization and punctuation are important), and then click your browser's Refresh button.
Go to MSN Search home page.
Click your browser's Back button to return to the previous page.

Does anyone know where the search URL is stored in the registry?
    Thanks.
    Manny

    Hi, Manny ~

The default Internet Explorer search page is at:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

And the Search Assistant in Internet Explorer is at:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search\SearchAssistant

    Hi, Manny

What it should be I suppose would be a matter of choice. I personally do not use the search assistant and have removed that key and the Search Page and Bar & Default Page and Search URLs are all set to Google on my machine.

    Thanks.
