Was followinging instructions by Dennis Faas, Infopackets editor,
on how to add selections to the Send To menu! I added MSWorks
4.0 sucessfully, Too sucessfully I am afraid! My MSWorks no longer
appears in my Windows Explorer and I went to Files and Folders
and the whole nine yard is shown to be in Send To! Is there anyway to get Works back to where it belongs ! I have no disks for Works or Win 98! Thank you for your time.

What happens if you open up winexplorer and click on the toolbat>edit>? is there an action bolded called "undo move "?

Did you actually move ALL of msworks or just copy it to the sendto folder?

Is msworks in it's own folder and subs, if so move it back?

Thanks for your input Goddez1! Sorry to cause unnecessary problems, But I called my son, from whom I got this computer
while my Presario is being overhauled, and asked if he could help me out and he said no but he had a bundle of stuff which came with this computer when he bought it 5-6 years ago!
BINGO! A beautiful, never out of the case MSWORKS CD! I ran
the program and then removed the old and I am now able to
go back to working on my other problem, "GIBBERISH "! (See
thread posted just prior to this one)! Thanks Again!

    Thanks for the update Soni,
I'm glad it all worked out for you. Having the software CD is always a "good thing ". While, I myself, wouldn't have gone to the extreme method of a unistall/reinstall, this was surely one method of correcting a booboo.

    :D Your welcome
