In Word go to the view menu, toolbars, customize. Click on the options tab and set menu animations to none.

    PERFECT !!!

Thank you Sunny, it was right there in front of me but I couldn't do it without you.:) Sunny do you know a fair share about Microsoft Word? I'm trying to figure out how to use it as my E-Mail program. I have a friend that seems to be doing it. I need to enter it under the Internet Options/Programs Tab/ Email Program.
    Can this be done Sunny.
    Thanks for everything

    Your welcome.

What exactly is your friend doing?

I think you are talking about using Word as your editor. If you go to tools, internet options in IE and click on the programs tab under html editor you can choose Word.

You can also email directly from Word using Outlook Express. Look in the same place in internet options and make sure under email program you have OE listed.
Then when you are in Word and want to send a document from word, go to file, send to, mail recipient and a new OE message window should open.

    Thanks Sunny

:D Thank you so very much for ALL THE EXCELLENT tips and help Sunny. I have the correct entrances in the Internet Options and HTML editor under the "Programs" tab. Thats what my friend is doing, but I guess unlike clicking on Outlook Express icon to open E-mail program I will open Microsoft Word then go to "File" Send to, then it will give me the E-mail window to write my letters. I could probably just put the shortcut for Word in the Quicl Launch toolbar instead of OE.
    Thanks for everything Sunny,,
    Be Well, Paul

Your welcome. I think I know what you want to do, try this. Open Word and go to the file menu and choose new and see if you have an email template under the general tab. This will let you use Word as your email editor.

Hi again Sunny, okay I hope I'm not making you crazy with all this about Word. I have Microsoft Word 2000. I did what you said , I opened Word, went into File/New, there was a icon that said e-mail message, but its weird looking compared to the other Icons. Its the little square with Microsoft Flag in it, hope you know what I mean. Anyway, that did open I guess what you would call a E-mail Template. I then found some GREAT help in Word on how to make Word the E-mail Editor.
(Turn on or off Word as your e-mail editor for messages created in Outlook
Learn about using Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor. )
Would I have "Outlook" with Microsoft Word 2000??? Do I need Outlook to make Word my default E-Mail Editor? Do I have to open Word each time I want to write e-mail? If I reply to e-mail I get in OE 6.0 Word won't open on Reply. Sorry about all this. If you want I could e-mail you off this Forum.
    Thanks again Sunny
    :)

    Your welcome.
Yes, I believe you need Outlook installed to be able to use Word as your email editor.
If you have Microsoft Office installed you should have Outlook. But if you only have Word installed you will not have Outlook.
If you click the help menu in word and type in (Using Word as your email editor) You will get directions on how to do this.

Okay Sunny, I am not sure if I have Office on this CD with Word 2000. When I did load the CD, I right Clicked it and clicked on Explore. I saw a Zip Icon that says OFFICE1.CAB.
I'm kinda lost right now. I think my problem must be that I don't have Office which means I don't have Outlook. Oh well, the Help in Word is excellent,
Thanks for everything Sunny. Now go and enjoy your weekend :D
