I have switched towers and have an Acer Aspire 6063 attached to my Compaq MV700 monitor! This has solved all the complaints I have posted in my other thread! However I do have one or two
dinks here, I had charts and various things in My Documents on
original unit with W/ME and Works 2000 and they appear as a lot of gibberish( JJJJJJJJJJJKKKKKKK and little boxes), when opened
with W/98 and Works 4.0 on the ACER! This information was transfered by CD and floppy, results same for both! Also where is a good place to get Memory for the Acer Aspire 6063 and the Compaq Presario 5002US! Thanks for your time!

Sounds like your going to have to upgrade the Works to a newer version.

Great! Just what I need! But this computer and works were in use by my son ( 30 years old) and I was, up until yesterday,
feeding him data by floppy and by CD's I burned, with no problem! Earlier today I highlighted and cut the gibberish from
works 4.0 and had my son send me certain medical charts which
had caused the mess in the first place, these printed and will
recall and store charts in My Documents and execute them in
works 4.0 as normal! But this is a long way around to get there!
    Thanks
