Boot to Safe Mode and try deleting from there - if on XP be sure to log on as Administrator or with administrative rights.

If you're trying to delete it through Windows Explorer, it might be that Windows is displaying a thumbmail and therefore thinks the file is in use.

Try accessing the file you want to delete through your picture viewing software. Go to File>Open, select the file there and use the delete key on the keyboard.

This is what i did and it worked.

Press F8 several times when booting up the computer until you reach a menu asking to boot in one of 6 modes. Choose safe mode.

No USB support and other drivers.. So make sure you got a PS/2 KB and a mouse will help.

If you have the mouse, go into Windows Explorer and find your KaZaA shared folder. Look for the image and delete it.

If you don't have a PS/2 mouse, press the "Windows" key and find the Windows Explorer executable. Use the arrow keys to select folders/files, press enter to enter a folder and tab to switch to that selected folder.
